Fans Choose Me as ERC Most Improved Driver 2025
I am incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to vote. Winning the ERC Most Improved Driver of the Year award means a lot because it reflects the support and belief of the people who have followed my journey.
This season has had plenty of highs and lows. There were weekends that demanded patience and others where everything finally clicked. Compared to last year I have found more pace, more confidence, and a clearer understanding of what each rally demands. To come away with a trophy that recognises that progress feels like proof that the hard work and persistence are paying off.
Finishing runner up in the overall 2025 ERC standings with the M Sport Ford World Rally Team was a proud moment in itself, but seeing the public vote come through with fifty percent backing was something special. Thank you to everyone who supported the vote. I really do appreciate it.
When I look back at the year, I think the biggest shift has been believing in myself and applying lessons from each event. Every rally teaches you something. You build knowledge of the stages, the surface, the pace notes, where you can push, and where you need to be smarter. When you return the following year and know what is coming you can attack with confidence rather than just survive. That has been a big turning point.
Receiving the award from Miikka Anttila in Zagreb was a proud moment for both me and Shane Byrne who has been alongside me throughout the season. It takes a team to make progress like this and I am lucky to have people around me who push just as hard as I do.
This award is a milestone, not a finish line. I am already looking ahead to the next stages, the next improvements, and the next chance to put everything I have learned into practice.
